Name: Lang Hu
They/them
Alias: The Pale Wing
Species: Insect construct
Age: 130
Height/Weight: 1ft (12 inches), weight .4 pounds
Reason for entering: To revive their best friend, a flower nymph who disappeared along with the little meadow she used to reside in. All that remains are the signs of corruption and decay also seen in the rest of the grove.
Memento: The remains of the friend’s dead flower crown, left tangled and caught in their fur and hair.
Strengths:
Abilities:
Weaknesses:
Personality: Seemingly sluggish and lazy at first, but underneath hides a deceivingly cruel and sadistic personality. Their mood is incredibly fickle; they can come off as apathetic at times, slyly playful at others, and it can range from cheerful to bitterly spiteful. However if there was once constant amongst it all, it’s their incessant devotion to keeping those they love safe. They show little care for most others, but if you manage to gain their trust, they become fiercely protective and possessive.
History: Had wandered alone for the first 100 years of their life, but for the last 30, they've been meeting near daily with a friend of theirs. In fact, their only friend. A flower nymph, in which Long Hu had hid in to escape the sights of hunters they'd been unfortunate enough to cross paths with. The nymph had started out as just a pain and annoyance, constantly bugging them to their chagrin. But day after day, they felt compelled to return time and time again, putting up with the nymph's antics and teasing words. The two grew close, finding solace in their own little section of the world. Until one day, there was nothing left but the withering vines of corruption and a single, dying crown of flowers.
Likes: Flowers (of course), sleep, honey, sweet corn,
Dislikes: Dairy, strong scents, dogs
Other: Massive fashionista, appreciator of high fashion and design

Strengths:
- Very fast, their small size makes them nimble and hard to catch
- Perceptive and attentive: they can notice the slightest of changes in the environment.
- Clever and manipulative, aiming to achieve what they want no matter who they have to use to get there.
Abilities:
- Can inject poisons of differing lethalities, however depending on its strength it requires some level of their own life force as an offering. The most dangerous poison they can create is practically a recipe for a murder suicide.
- Claws, akin to the ones of a praying mantis. They can be easily used to cut and flay, sharp enough to tear through flesh.
Weaknesses:
- Fragile wings which are easily damaged, significantly weakening them without it.
- Susceptible to fire and other extreme temperatures, especially the cold
- Obsessive to a fault: specifically for the dead friend to the point of losing all sense of self preservation if any of her remaining flowers are damaged or destroyed
- Fear of Abandonment: Incredibly afraid of being left abandoned by others, desperately clinging onto anyone they can if it seems like they are on the verge of being left behind. (Becomes irrational and distraught if they are specifically left behind, not if they’re just simply alone.)
