Auditioning Information

Your character reference (or references if you are submitting a pair, even if only one is a fighter character) must be accepted before you are allowed to submit audition pages. Visit the Character Design journal for more information.

Your audition must:

• Show your character intentionally seeking out the Endgrove or coming across it by accident, and going in. They must then somehow defeat, pacify, or otherwise safely escape from an aggressive form of plant or animal life with their abilities.

• At some point - it can be at any time during the audition - Blanca or one of her staff must appear, either witnessing their act directly, learning of it through one of the helper NPCs, or seeing the aftermath of it. She must then ask them for their services in exchange for a chance to win the bloom, and direct them to the remaining sanctuary of the Endgrove to stay during the tournament.
  

• What corrupted plant or animal life a competitor interacts with is up to you; feel free to use any existing plant for inspiration, or make up a wholly new one!

• The character must use their abilities - magical or natural, strength or smarts - to defeat, pacify, or escape from what is attacking them. They cannot receive help from anyone except their partner character (if they have one) to do so. Displaying their ability to handle themself without aid is vital so that they will be given the offer to compete.
